Each page contains two puzzles: a Step puzzle and a Lock puzzle.
The Step puzzles give you the instructions (well, steps) to completing the main challenge. Remember to write these down!
You should check your answers to the Steps in their respective boxes before moving on. Of course, you don’t need to if you're confident, but they are important as you'll need to get them right in order to be able to fully complete the challenge.
The Lock puzzles give you the Keys you need to access the subsequent pages. Each Key also indicates the nature of the next clue.
Once you figure out the Key, add it to the end of the url https://merry-simpmas.neocities.org/ and add .html at the end.
So for example, if your Key is "example", enter https://merry-simpmas.neocities.org/example.html
Here are some tips for you:
1. All the Keys are lowercase.
2. To make it slightly easier for you, the number of underscores given in each Answer section is equal to the number of letters in the answer. The only exception to this is the answer to Step #1.
3. The answers to all the Steps and Keys are actual English words.
4. For some of the puzzles, you may want them printed out to make things easier, so let me know and I'll send the docs to you!
5. There are hints for all the puzzles, but I'm kinda bad at controlling how little or how much I give away in hints, so if you need anything more, just ask me. Soz!
6. Italicised text holds hidden clues, while regular text is just proper instructions.
All you have to do is follow the instructions right till the very end.
You have till the end of the day* to complete this, though with your brains, I’m sure you won’t need all that time. I trust you will see it through.
